CHILD HEALTH from the beginning
In our pediatric center, all diseases of children and adolescents are treated from birth until the point at which our patients no longer want to go to the pediatrician.
It is part of our medical philosophy to only suggest examinations if the question is clear and the therapeutic consequences are appropriate.
Therapeutic measures are clearly justified and alternative approaches are discussed. Parents are always included in every diagnostic and therapeutic concept.
cooperation
For special illnesses, we of course work with special outpatient clinics (in Düsseldorf, Essen, Neuss and Cologne). For major pediatric surgical problems, we cooperate with the Florence Nightingale Hospital.
If inpatient care is necessary, we prefer the children’s clinic at the Florence Nightingale Hospital.
In addition to caring for acute health problems, we focus on the following areas:
- Pediatric preventive care from U2 to U11
- Youth examinations J1/J2 and youth counseling
- Check-up examinations such as sports examinations, kindergarten examinations
- All vaccinations in accordance with STIKO recommendations
- Ultrasound examinations (skull, thyroid, hip and abdominal organs)
- All laboratory tests
- Hearing and vision tests
- Nutritional medicine
- Allergology (allergological consultation, allergy diagnostics including special skin and blood tests (PRICK, RAST), therapeutic subcutaneous and sublingual hyposensitization and alternative healing methods)
- Naturopathic treatments
- Travel medical advice and yellow fever vaccination center
In addition, we examine and advise based on studies based on current scientific standards if a second opinion is requested.
